Welcome to The Sand Garden, offering 1,400 square feet of indoor sandbox play space, featuring two large sandboxes designed for children aged 0 to 10 years old.
Our weatherproof, sensory-rich environment encourages little ones to dig, build, and explore at their own pace. With plenty of room to play, connect, and create, The Sand Garden offers a peaceful retreat for families, rain or shine.
Whether you are here for open play or a special event, we cannot wait to welcome you into our garden!

Friendly Reminder: We do not allow impromptu birthday celebrations in our common seating area. To book a birthday party or private event, please see our party packages here.
Weekend Wait Times:
Please note that weekends and holidays are our busiest times, and wait times may occur during peak hours. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
During peak hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, we recommend calling us at 206-503-3760 before you visit to check whether we're at capacity. If there is a wait, we'll gladly add you to our waitlist while you're on your way.
Capacity may also be limited during birthday party rentals, as one of our sandboxes may be reserved for a private party.

The Sand Garden is thrilled to offer Open Play seven days a week for everyone to enjoy! Here’s what you need to know:

Pricing
Pay Per Session: Access is available for $22 per day per child. Children under 1 playing in the Sand: $10
On Weekends, adults are $5 per adult

This place is top-notch! Dare I say…Zen. From the moment we walked in, I could tell it was going to be a good experience. The staff greeted us, checked us in, explained the rules; off we went! So simple.
We visited on a Friday around 10:30/11 and it wasn’t super crowded. There was a steady flow of families coming and going. It’s such a simple concept but so well done and well executed. Enough for the kids to do and not get bored, even after 2 hours. The music was soft and relaxing. The space was super clean well layed out.
We met a new friend, engaged in sensory play, ate some snacks, and headed home. What more can you ask for!
